A graduate of Harvard College (magna cum laude) at Harvard University, and Tufts University, Dr. Helm is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, with a subspecialty certification in pain medicine. He has been practicing interventional pain management since 1982. A qualified medical evaluator, Dr. Helm works as a consultant and expert witness for multiple organizations. He serves in leadership positions with state-wide and national pain management societies, publishes, and lectures extensively.
